Black History Month of Inspiration

By

Desiree Future

In honor of Black History Month, I will be celebrating by posting poems by some of the greatest who have shaped history. Below them will be my personal summary. So let us begin.

Each road that we will travel and each step that we take is because someone helped us get there. No, we might not have seen them do it or even know their names. But it’s because another paved the way for us.

Recently I taught a friend of mine, something she didn’t even know. She told me I was teaching her so much. I explained to her that it was taught to me, and I was just passing it along.

In order to grow, you must help others because one day you will need assistance. You’ll want someone to be there for you. Matthew 22 39 Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
