Today I had a ton of errands to run. It seemed like my to do list was meant for more than one trip. With my neuropathy bothering me a tad, this lady still forged on.
Parking for the library book sale was easy thankfully. My mind was set on attending my writers’ meeting, though time was not on my side. Sadly I didn’t make it.
Needing a replacement garbage can ended with me walking out the store empty handed. With summer heat fast approaching a few pair of shorts were in order.
Beautiful skirt check. Two pairs of light weight pants check. A gorgeous fleece hoodie with Every Day God is Good on it check. But no shorts.
One store had both the shorts and trash can. However it was ten miles away. My legs didn’t want to take the drive.
Knowing the soccer games were coming to my area next week, it was now or never. Refusing to be parked in non moving traffic is no, no for me. With that in mind, I pressed in.
Finding a parking spot right in front of the store was gold. Locating the great trash receptacle stood out as if it was waiting on me. Pretty shorts were so on sale, I purchased them in all four colors.
My plan was to stay local and go home to rest. God’s plan was to go further and get the best things then relax.
God shows us His plan every day. No, it might not be what you want but it’s His will. We just have to keep our eyes and ears open to receive it.
