Welcome to February and Black History Month. As I did last year I will again be showcasing things about Black History and what it means to me.

Last year all of my Wisdom Wednesday quotes were focused on this special time. This time around things will be slightly different.

You will get a little of both articles and Wisdom Wednesday for this month. My goal is to give more than normal. As well as an interesting and thought provoking read.

You’ll also get my own commentary at the bottom of each quote. These are the things that inspire me and help me along my way. What inspires you?

To start out here’s a quote by none other than the Rev Dr. Martin L. King Jr.

Your eyes look at the dark gloomy clouds wondering when will the sunshine again. You try to see past your endless tunnel of madness but to you there is no end.

If no one has told you or you have forgotten, I know someone who sits high and looks low. Be still for God is still on the throne.

I hope this helps someone because it just helped me as I was writing it.

Psalm 46: Be still, and know that I am God
