Who was Marian Anderson? Well she was an African American woman who sang opera. Not only did she sing opera she sang her way straight to Metropolitan Opera.

Her gift was that of being a singer where she sang to everyone’s delight. I personally sing in my shower because singing is not my gift – writing is.

It’s doesn’t matter whether God gave you the gift of being an electrician or a well-sought-after chef. Your gift is for you and no one else. Embrace your gift and don’t waste it.

James 1:17 NIV Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
