Smile because you are beautiful with all of your flaws and imperfections.

Hi, I’m Desiree Future, a Self-Improvement Blogger who writes to inspire & encourage others. As everyone needs a little motivation every now & then including myself.

It has been an interesting two months for me to say the least. Between having health issues and having to retire my car it is been rather difficult. However, my faith in God outweighs anything that I’m going or have been through. I gave God all my troubles and walked away.

During this season of my life, I have started to teach myself how to crochet. It is a way of stepping away from things as well as the constant computer screens. No I haven’t actually completed anything just yet. I’m still learning to get through a single stitch.

What I have noticed is something I didn’t expect. For each stitch I make as I’m listening to soothing jazz music my troubles seem to melt away. Unsure of how to explain it but it happens every time I pick up my needle.

I’m no longer worried about having to take the bus to get around. Nor am I worried about my health issues. Those are problems for God to handle. As for me I’m going grab my crochet needle, turn on my music and crochet away.

What do you do to relieve your stress?

Psalm 55:22 KJV Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

    1. It takes too much energy to become stressed out. But when you give that burden to God to handle you become weightless. Thanks for reading.
