Good morning, good afternoon or good evening depending on where you are because I have subscribers in several different countries. I’d like to take a minute to talk you.
For the month of May, it seems like I have not been on my A game. My posts have not been what I would like them to be. Me reading other bloggers’ posts also have not been what I would like them to be either.
The fact of the matter is that I have been very busy lately. With working a full-time job, writing this blog and writing a new book, its been a little hard.
Yes, I’m writing a new book. Its another Christian fiction book newly in the works. Unsure of when it will be released but this time, I’m doing traditional publishing as opposed to self-publishing. So this will take a while.
Along with that I have health problems where my body screams at me when I’m doing too much. God is literally telling me to sit down and rest so my writing has slowed a bit this month.
Not to worry, slowly but surely I’m picking back up. Everything that I previously scheduled is already posted. I just need to do it again for the next few weeks to get ahead.
You’re probably wondering why I’m giving you an explanation. Well when you constantly talk to someone and all of the sudden their conversation changes, you become worried.
So here I am telling you not to worry. I’m merely resting so I can be the best version of myself for me and you. I’ve always said you can’t take care of anyone else until you take care of yourself first.
I’ll try my best not to miss any posting days even if it means posting the day of at 12:30 in the afternoon instead of 12:00 in the morning. I’ve loved writing since I was a child so this is my heart and I will write because its my passion.
In the meantime, if you would like to join me in writing inspiring articles or poems, feel free to contact me. Or just send me a message simply saying Hi. I’d love to hear form you.
My resting includes elevating my legs, pain medicine, a cup of decaf tea with almond milk, gluten free crackers (if I can find them) and a good movie. What do you do when you need to rest and unwind?
Isaiah 40:29: “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”
